From Costal to Mountains (S04)

After landing, please clear immigration and complete any visa formalities. Once you’ve collected your baggage, proceed to the arrival lounge through the green channel if you have no goods to declare to customs.

You will be greeted by a chauffeur guide from SL Trips who will call your name. After that, you to start your journey with the guide as per your itinerary.

Places to be visited during the day

1. Bentota beach and enjoy Paramotoring and get breakfast nearby restaurant.
2. Kosgoda- Sea turtle hatchery

Then you will head to Mirissa and check into the hotel. In Mirissa you can explore

• Parrot Rock: Take a short walk to Parrot Rock for stunning views of the coastline. This is a great spot for photos and exploring rock pools.
• Coconut Tree Hill: Optionally, hike to Coconut Tree Hill for breathtaking sunset views over the ocean. Don’t forget to capture a selfie for Instagram against the backdrop of swaying palm trees and the stunning coastline!
• Relax at Mirissa Beach: Spend the afternoon lounging on the soft sands of Mirissa Beach, swimming, or simply soaking up the sun.

Stay at Mirissa

After breakfast, you’ll head to Tissamaharama. After checking to the hotel, you can visit Yala National Park, a half-day safari.

• Yala National Park – a wildlife-rich sanctuary with the world’s highest leopard density, where visitors must hire a 4×4 safari jeep to explore its 979 square kilometres of diverse ecosystems, encountering elephants, leopards, crocodiles, and 215 bird species across scrublands and coastal terrains.

Stay at Tissamaharama

After breakfast, you’ll head to Ella, and enjoy a scenic drive from Ella to Yala, taking in the beautiful landscapes along the way.

• Ravana Falls – spectacular 82-foot cascading waterfall surrounded by green landscape

• Marvel at the iconic Demodara Nine Arch Bridge.

• Visit Little Adam’s Peak for breathtaking hilltop views. (Optional)

  • Ella swing

After checking into the hotel, then relax.

In the evening you can experience the nightlife in Ella at the Ella Nightclubs (Dream Club Ella, Haze Ella, The Journey Club, One Love Bar, The Buddha Lounge), which is an optional activity. Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with music and entertainment, making it a great way to unwind after a day of exploring.

After breakfast, you’ll head to Nuwara Eliya, enjoying stunning views of lush greenery and tea plantations along the way.

2. Visit a strawberry farm & enjoy fresh strawberry juice & shake
3. Visit Gregory Lake in the evening for a relaxing experience, where you can enjoy boating, pony rides, and scenic strolls amidst the tranquil surroundings of Nuwara Eliya.
4. Pedro Tea Estate Nuwara Eliya: Perched in the mist-shrouded mountains of Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka, Pedro Estate is a renowned tea plantation known for producing exceptional high-grown Ceylon tea. At over 6,000 feet above sea level, its unique climate yields teas celebrated for their bright, brisk character. (Or keep this to the following day morning)

After breakfast, you’ll head to Nanu Oya Railway Station and embark on the breathtaking train journey to Kandy, enjoying stunning views of lush greenery and tea plantations along the way.

On your final day in Sri Lanka, savor a relaxing breakfast at your hotel before beginning your journey home. Your last adventure takes you to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. From there, you’ll continue to the airport, taking with you unforgettable memories of this tropical paradise.

Home to Sri Lanka’s largest elephant herd in captivity, the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage provides care and sanctuary to abandoned and injured elephants. Watch as elephants of all ages gather for their daily river baths, bottle-feeding sessions for baby elephants, and natural social interactions within the herd.
