After landing, please clear immigration and complete any visa formalities. Once you’ve collected your baggage, proceed to the arrival lounge through the green channel if you have no goods to declare to customs.

After breakfast, you’ll head to Yala.

• Seetha Amman Temple – The only temple in the world dedicated to Sita, located in Sita Eliya, believed to be the site where she was held captive by Ravana.
• Visit Yala National Park for an exciting safari experience, where you can observe diverse wildlife, including leopards, elephants, and a variety of bird species in their natural habitats. (4 x 4 Safari Jeep to be hired)
• Later, visit the world-famous Kataragama Hindu Temple, a sacred site revered by Buddhists, Hindus, and Muslims alike, known for its rich history and vibrant cultural significance as a pilgrimage destination dedicated to Lord Murugan.

After breakfast, leave the hotel, and enjoy a scenic drive from Yala to Mirissa, taking in the beautiful landscapes along the way.

• Coconut Tree Hill: Optionally, hike to Coconut Tree Hill for breathtaking sunset views over the ocean. Don’t forget to capture a selfie for Instagram against the backdrop of swaying palm trees and the stunning coastline!

• Whale and dolphin watching – Embark on an exciting whale and dolphin watching tour in Mirissa, where you can witness majestic blue whales and playful dolphins in their natural habitat, with trips typically departing at 7 AM for a memorable 3 to 4-hour experience. (You have to leave the hotel at least 4 AM.)
• Visit a turtle hatchery at Kosgoda to learn about Sri Lankan turtles and their conservation efforts.
• Boat Safari in Madu River – where you can explore the stunning mangrove ecosystems and enjoy fish therapy as the gentle Garra Rufa fish nibble away dead skin from your feet while you relax.
• Engage in fun water sports activities in the beautiful Bentota Sea or River, including jet skiing, banana boat rides, and snorkelling. (Optional and manage on your leisure time)
• Relax on the beach.
